Following the recent password exposure flaw with GitHub, Twitter decided they needed to get in on it. Upon logging into Twitter users were met with the following message
Twitters identified the bug that was storing unmasked passwords in internal logs. Much like GitHub they claim that only few staff have access to those logs and that their investigation shows that there was no misconduct regarding the bug. That being said they still recommend that you change your password.
